About
Elliot received his MSci in chemistry and physics from Durham University, working on negative thermal expansion materials and organic ferroelectrics. His PhD project involves studying rubrene single crystals under strain, in order to understand how crystal structure and dynamic disorder affect the charge transport properties. He is mainly focused on FET and Seebeck coefficient measurements of these flexible devices. Outside the lab he enjoys long walks along the Cam and is a part of the university fencing club.
