Yida Wu

Yida received her Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University and Queen Mary University of London. She completed her MPhil in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise at the University of Cambridge, where she worked in Sirringhaus Lab investigating the influence of structural defects on the conductivity of conjugated polymers. Starting in October 2025, Yida continues her academic journey as a PhD student in Sirringhaus Lab, further exploring the structure–property relationships of organic thermoelectrics through material characterisation and device fabrication. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, Go, board games, and badminton.
