Biography

Ziming completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa in Canada, earning degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology. He went on to pursue a Master’s in Connected Electronics and Photonics at the University of Cambridge, where he conducted two mini-projects focused on perovskites and Photonic Neural Networks (PNNs), respectively.

He is currently working on a project investigating contact resistance in OFETs and will transition to exploring strategies for improving device stability. His research interests include the hardware implementation of PNNs using organic electronics, as well as the development of organic electrochemical neurons (OECNs) for neuromorphic perception and computing. In the later stages of his PhD, he intends to initiate a project on implementing OECNs via OECTs.
